Dedicated to the memory of Beryl Clark

Mum was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2008 and in subsequent years received a great deal of support from Parkinson's UK. We made good use of the information and resources provided centrally, especially when we wanted to learn more about the condition and what Mum should expect, and Mum enjoyed receiving the regular magazine and newsletters. Perhaps most important of all, for several years she took part in events, activities, talks and support sessions organised by the Christchurch/Bournemouth local group.

It seems appropriate that, at a time when some friends and family will want to pay tribute to Mum, we ask for donations to Parkinson's UK as a way of remembering her. Some friends may prefer to give through George Scott Funeral Services, 15 Somerset Road, Bournemouth BH7 6JH, but this site provides an alternative way to give.

There were some other causes that were close to Mum's heart and we will find ways to support those in due course. But as a tribute to Mum - and, of course, only if you can afford to in these challenging times - we would appreciate any small donations you are able to make to Parkinson's UK.

The current restrictions on movement mean that we will only be able to have a very private funeral for Mum. However, when the circumstances are such that we will all be able to come together more easily, we will organise a memorial service.

Very many thanks.

Keith and Tuula
